tried out a 3 prong fork for the first time for sheaf tonight- I really liked the fact that it did not start to slip down on my backswing allowing a more aggressive backswing and therefore a better throw (at least for me anyway). Concering hand placement around the middle tine- do most people feel that it goes between index and middle or middle and ring finger? thanks |

I split my ring and middle fingers....if the middle tine is rounded out at the bottom unlike mine than it should work just fine either way

Hey Shawn,
The two tine forks typically have more taper. I find if I put a touch of tack or spray glue on the upper part of the tines on the outside it grabs just enough to keep the bag from sliding. |

Shawn, I have found that between the middle and the ring finger tends to be better for those of us with paws. I really try to bury my hand in there so the tine is touching the web between my fingers. Hunter |

Thanks for the replies- may try out the 3 prong at MWC Hunter- you definitely would qualify as having paws- are you going to be around in Denver this weekend?? |

Between the middle and ring finger has always worked best for me, but be careful with the 3-prong! I've found that a lot of people have problems with it catching on the release and it'll sort of snap off the forks and screw the throw up a bit. It makes a dong noise and leaves the middle prong vibrating. That's no good.
