Gonna try this out and see how it works.

This thread is for monthly goals and other non-HG specific talk.  Saw a good movie?  Got a funny story you want to share?   Have some good news?   A pic you wanna share?  You get the idea.  Post it.

If this flops and doesn't get any traffic, then we just won't do it anymore, lol.

I know Hunger Games was a book written for 12yr old girls, but it was still a decent movie.

I saw Hunger Games, it was actually really good. I'm going to try to see Wrath of the Titans.
I'm just an idiot, pretending to be smart.

Wrath of the Titans is great. Much better than Clash of the Titans. John Carter is very good as well.

My roommate in college was named John Carter, but he was called Dr. John, but that is a whole different story.

Justified Tuesday nights.

21 Jump Street made me pee myself laughing, go see it now.

Also, I am tentative about Wrath of the Titans because of how awful Clash was (the original Clash rules though)

If you want a good laugh or enjoy shows that resemble Cops watch North Woods Law on discovery channel. It is wildlife rangers in the woods of Maine and since I teach in Maine and live in NH it makes me laugh with all the ridiculous accents and sh*t. Watch it....do it

When I hear people talk about how great Chipotle is, it makes me pity them.

We don't have any Freebirds or Izzo's here, so that doesn't help much.  We have Chipotle and Hot Head Burrito.

After quick research, there are only 8 Izzo's locations in two states, and Freebirds are only in three states.

There are 1230 Chipotle locations.

Charmin and Chipotle must have a secret agreement and business venture with each other because I am toilet bound literally the day I eat that stuff

Andy...never been to any Freebirds but the ORIGINAL in Goleta, CA (I went to graduate school at UC Santa Barbara).  God...I miss Freebirds.  Best (and hugest) burritos I have ever had in my life.  Who'd ever thought BBQ sauce would be good on a burrito?

Now, up here in Central Maine, I would kill for a Chipotle.  Or even a Baja Fresh.  The food up here blows.

So, example of ADD in throwers!  And you thought it couldn't happen...

The HWFD this weekend, I fouled my first throw and by my second the ground was tore up.  (Damn the kids with cleats.)  So I was a bit hesitant and still hadn't found my center for my footwork.  First turn was a bit off, second turn was just a bit more, but that tore up ground wouldn't hold.  WHISH goes my plant foot, slam goes my ass/back on ground and tinkle goes the weight as it falls about three feet away.

Laying there in my shame, verifying nothing broke, wondering how could I possibly look any of the other (World Champion) masters in the eye, WORM!  there is a worm in the ground.  Look it is moving through that bit that is ripped up.

From there I had to chastize myself and try to get back to my shame and throwing.

(Is that too much throwing for this thread??)

---------
I have very few social interaction skills, so I just throw stuff instead.

02APR  MON

Day three of being in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  No lifting or throwing.  I get ansy about it but then we do stuff like arming the kids with flashlights and nets and go crabbing!  Throwing is cool and all but watching 5-11 year olds spazz out when they see crabs running everywhere and chasing them with nets is just hilarious.

Oh, and Cracker Barrel blows.

Season 2 Ep 1 of Game of Thrones was good.
