In the foreground are two vendor tents, behind that is
part of
the athletic field, the bleachers, and the sponsors
tent. Most of the athletic field appears to be above
water, but it's probably a soupy mess. Other parts of
the festival site (which is very large) are completely
submerged.

Below is the street my wife and I usually park on.

Mark that is freakin' hilarious!  I hope you didn't plan on throwing in Bethlehem ever again; and you better have some damn good tapes in the mail heading to Easton, PA.

Those pictures are from the Morning Call newspaper. They were taken on Saturday. Other parts of the festival site are even worse.

The good news is, from the articles it sounds as if the water is receding quickly and organizers think they'll be able to have the area cleaned up in time. I don't know what that means in terms of the athletic field, though. I would expect it to be soggy. My wife's parents live a few miles away, and they lost some ornamental trees in their front yard because the ground was so saturated the roots ripped right out.

I'll be missing the games there for the first time in 12 years - looks like I picked the right time to do it.
