After taking a 2 year hiatus from deadlifting, I committed back to them this offseason. I don't know why I knocked them out of my program before. When my deadlift is big, I am strong, in all lifts, olympic lifts included. Anyway, I hit a PR of 700 tonight. It's FAARRR from pretty and sure wouldn't get any white lights, but what do I care?

Isn't gravity less in Canada?  Just joking dude great lift, too bad intensity can't be transmitted through youtube.
If you don't have time to do it right, when are you going to have time to do it over?

Dude, that's good strength! I know you posted before about oly lifting, I have coached T & f athletes for years, everybody I know responded well to deadlifting from throwing to 100m LJ and Hurdles, I am 99.99999% sure it will carry over well to the games! not everybody responded well to Oly lifting and a lot got overtrained on it, I like Oly lifting so much i competed in it for quite a few years, BUT I think deadlifting is better.
