As was pointed out to me by a wise and ancient thrower, this is worth viewing simply as a reminder of intensity.  Judge your workouts against this for intensity . . . or not.  Or as I do, watch it for the . . . well, you'll see.  13 minutes, worth watching.

On the http://www.crossfit.com website, go to the Workout of the Day for 12/4/05. In the right column scroll down until you see “Workout Archives (Monthly). Select ‘December 05’, and then scroll down to the bottom and find December 4th  . Just above the picture is a [video] link at the end of the line ‘With 95 pounds Annie 9:47, Eva 10:16, Nicole 12:51 ‘. Play the video

Maybe, but you sure won't be as pretty. That stuff makes my booty lock up just watching it.

Wow, the end of that video is the best part. Watching that kind of effort kind of chokes me up a bit. Ok, I go lift now.

Once I started doing the harder cardio stuff and experimenting I quickly realized that the people out there doing this stuff all think they have the "ultimate" workout.  A lot of them are willing to sell it to you for a price (Think Kettlebells for example).

The truth is there's a zillion ways to knock yourself on your ass in exhaustion if that's your goal.  I have a few friends that each did an Ironman in the past year.  They were basically working out for over 12 hours.  To me that's INTENSE.

And hugs and tears at the end?  I'll I've got left is blood and sweat baby!

8 sets of doubles on a parallel box with an extra 55lbs of chain exhausts me
