I would think that circadian rhythms play a roll in lifting
and throwing to some degree. For example I lift at night
7pm until around 830pm. When practice rolls around it is
more often than not late afternoon 430 or 5pm until it is
done.

Games start in the morning (9 o'clock or so). Lifting
today early stunk. Is there a correlation or is it in my
head?

No it's legit. It takes quite a while to adjust to morning training. CNS
activation isn't consistent around the clock, and unless you get
accustomed to it, its awful in the morning. Your testosterone levels are
also higher by the afternoon, generally.

My general training days is Mon,Tue,Thu nights and Sat Afternons. a few years ago our group switched to training on saturday mornings starting around 9:30. I could not get going with the throwing at all and only felt awake once we were lifting afterwards and have since stopped starting training at that ungodly time of day.

So I would say you are feeling something I would say most of us do and that is early mornings are not for training and probably shouldn't be throwing at that time either.

Please, please, please dont f*ck about near or in electricity substations.
