Not since I stopped playing football. And we only stood in tanks that were just over your knees.you had to watch out for guys that would fill them up a little to give you a freeze… Dirty rookie tricks!

Every chance i got, ice bath.After competing in Scotland i would go and sit in the nearest Loch,not as cold as ice  but refeshing

I do the contrasts with the steam room and the cold showers.  They seem to help in recovery.

These really do help with recovery and feel good once you become accustomed to them (which you will).

Here in New Hampshire I have a great set up in the winter. My 8 year old son
does it with me. We have an outdoor hot tub and we jump from the hot tub
into the snow and back into the tub. Repeat. Great stuff.
