I am needing to get a new pair of boots to put these new blades on and I haven't bought boots in 10+ years. What is a good brand or so (cheap) to get for hammerblades these days?  Some have so much crap on the bottom it seems nearly impossible to get blades on them.

I used my military issue all leather combat boots. Well
worn, comfortable, and lace up to mid-shin; twenty years
old and still the best footwear I have ever had.

Depending on your shoe size, you can get some jungle-style combat boots on the cheap at www.sportsmansguide.com.  They also have some military surplus boots from around the world that are in good condition that tend to run a little cheaper as well.  I, having rather large feet,  have to get mine elsewhere, but was able to get them on there a couple of years ago and I think I spent about $25-30 for a pair with the canvas tops.  Good luck finding what you are looking for.

Walmart...Grizzlies I think they are called.

True story, I stole Chad Gustin's boots out of his bag once in Texas and took a bunch of pictures of them, then replaced them all sneaky-like.*  Snake Eyes doesn't have sh*t on Dunc Eyes.

Cheap boots from Walmart have held up very well...

K guys thanks. Unfortunately I only have a size 9 foot, so finding boots won't be an issue. May look at walmart per Sir Sneakster's suggestion or at Army surplus.

Bought mine at Target for 19.99 and they work great w. Brock blades.
Scots are supposed to be cheap.
Just get a stiff thick sole and use lots of thick wide washers.

Brian, do you have a Big 5 sports store in your area?  That's where I found my Response Gear Tacticle black boots for $20.00.  Nice thick soles and side zippers.  They fit like a glove and are very comfortable with Brock blades.  Big 5 has a large selection.  Good luck.  Beth
