I am having a bit of a feel issue with the stone throws, I have decent distance for a new guy but I don't feel connected to the stone. It is like I just can't feel the weight of it and without feeling it I think I am missing a window to put more of a push on it. Hope that makes sense and thanks in advance for the help.

Put up some video - especially from the back of the trig - but I have a
suspicion that you are probably not staying back, so the "push" on the stone is very short. Do you have the same problem with a standing throw? Think of keeping your eyes facing the rear of the trig for as long as possible - drive the hips around and up BEFORE you drive your off arm, and once you feel that stretch from your off arm driving, then you activate your upper body and punch that stone with all your might. |

I am still learning technique so I do most throws standing I can get more distance out of standing throws than I can with glide or spin at the moment so that is what I use. I will try to get a video up but will have to borrow a camera as I am poor and techno-challenged.
