Anybody use these things?

I'm thinking about wearing one for box jumps.

....or maybe taking the wifes and MIL's old ankle weights (that she never uses)  and hanging them off of a web belt.

Obviously you like it.  Any thoughts about stressing out the knees?

No and my knees are junk, my vest is home made and it weighs 20lbs. Its about a mile walk around the block and im chasing my son on his bike so its a fast walk to a jog at times. im just doing a slow drill when throwing.

I just keep adding weight as I loose it. And Im down 40lbs since last year I need to bump up the weight on vest.

You need to speak with Kent Durso, he does a whole routine with the weighted vest.  And has been using it for years.  Runs, squats, pushes a jeep, stone lift, all in like 10 min with one giant set.  Very wild.

I've got the X-Vest. Goes to 80 lbs.

I will wear it when I squat and immediately go into plyo jumps after each set. Also adds weight to your squat but not to the bar.

Also a nice thing for speed training and pullup's.
