... you pull the cuff of your pant leg over your calf to scratch it and can't pull your pant leg back over your calf without the assistance of pliers.

Big calves are cool, for some reason guys feel the need to show me their calves.  He wants to show me his are larger than mine.  You wonder how they grow so large when they are always in the shade?  Some even have sandles on and really freak me out.  Zolk is a freak exception for sure.  But then he wears his sisters tennis socks and ruins the effect.

sniff...sniff thank you.

DUDE! I'm not that sensitive. I think calves are a genetic thing, you got 'em or you don't. In my family everyone has them. It doesn't matter if I'm a svelte 290 or tog 380 my calves stay pretty much the same. They don't seem to help my wob though.

Dog bro, it just did not sound right when I went back and read that, I don't want anyone to feel any negative about some garbage I posted.  No need for that.

And it is not hate Mike, I am envious of those cows.  Guy has the hair and the calves, nice.  But please don't go there with the daughter thing, we don't need to find Mr. Baab's dark side.  Trust me, dude has a very nasty he does not show to people.

This sentence stands alone as a testament that Texas people just spend their time with strange and unyielding hobbie that can not be comprehended by other civilizations. Or, they are just really bored and very lonely.

Just remember Baab "Are you old enough to buy cigaretts or beer?"

Maybe that is why I just cant seem to win a games in Texas,  my calves are smaller than my wifes. And I threw in college instead of playing ball, just no time for calf raises after shot practice.  If any one knows where I can get some socks with padding in them maybe I will have a chance to beat some people.
If you don't have time to do it right, when are you going to have time to do it over?

I used to desire large calves....mine are toothpicks.....and then I met Bill Leffler.  The guy is 55 years old, weighs 220lbs soaking wet, and has a 44ft stone put......and I swear to gawd the biggest part of his leg below his knee is his ankle.  Either that or if he had any calves at all he'd put the stone 60ft plus.  Calves are overrated.....remember, it's not the size of your calves its the magic in them.

Calf envy! I was told growing up by an old coach in 7th grade before Quint was born - who split us unto lineman or backs groups solely on calf size/shape - " Plowhorses w. big feet push and pull  and racers w. teeny feet race. Go over there w. the plowhorses , son."

I've never really considered the evolutionary advantage to large calves but increased pushing power would seem reasonable. I know they make walking up hills easier...Hey Thom maybe that's it. My ancestors come from the Scottish Highlands, think hills, and yours come from the Netherlands, think flat... and red light district.

which would explain is spinning wob prowess.

Quint, calf raises? Could you explain those? I've never heard of them. You also may want to change your avatar pic or you'll end up with a fan club like Ed's.

This thread may finally be ready for the Other forum now.

Hey Meat,

Just a reminder, brother.  Up where you live gun control means limiting constitutional rights, down here in Texas it means hitting what you're aiming for....not that anybody connected to the NFL would have a gun
