Looks about right to me. My picks:

1 - East Coast Dave B.

2 - West Coast Dave B.

3 - Bruce Almighty

4 - Petur (right on Aitken's heels)

Cheers,

Carlos

I agree with Carlos, except move everyone down one spot and place Doug McDonald in the top spot.

Is Francis Brebner coming out of retirement?

I agree with John. I think Dougie will be in the top spot followed closely be Barron and Brown. Good luck to all!

Good point Coach Mac. It would be nice to see all the top throwers at the World's, this is most unfortunate and hopefully it will rectified in the future.

And yes the first event has Petur's name all over it!

The money is still on Dave Barron but Aitken is creeping up on the yanks with news that he is taking his personal motivator with him.

Dave Barron; even money

Dave Brown;     2/1

Doug Macdonald; 5/1

Bruce Aitken;   2/1

Gregor Edmunds  10/1

Petur Gudmundson 4/1

Wout Zylstra     7/1

Bruce Robb      9/1

still getting bets on these 2 outsiders.

Bill Anderson 100/1

Francis Brebner 400/1

I will put my money on Dave Brown.  He is ready to bomb!  He is even throwing the stones well.  42 and 84 in the weights and 113 and 135 in the hammers at Fresno this past weekend.  He also is turning all cabers right now.  Good luck Dave Brown!

Have any odds been given for Sir Hamish Davidson making a comeback?

Ye may be quick,
Ye may be whacky,
But to throw the best...

Ye hae tae use Big Jim's tacky!

What comeback? He's still competing. Here are a couple
of pictures of Hamish from games in - believe it or not
- the Czech Republic earlier this year.
